1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions. I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.” So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer. The topic I received today from Jesus is: Fasting and Praying, you will experience signs and wonders!
Today's catch is a confirmation of what I received on July 27 and 28, then August 6 and 7, 2024. It is all about how Satan tries all his best to destroy God's people, especially to stop us to worship God in our church in the midst of this dark world.
Let me copy and paste what I wrote on July 27, 2024 in my blog:
"Fasting and praying, put on sackcloth and repent, cry out to God!
The whole world is being attacked by the vast army of all kinds of natural disaster and plages. Many nations have been doing lots of research and works trying to solve this crisis but unsuccessful!
I strongly believe if we have Jahaziel in Jehoshaphat's time and Isaiah in Hezekiah's time to ask people to fast and pray, to put on sackcloth and repent, to cry out to God, God will act and COVID will be no more!"
That's what I wrote on July 27, 2024. Then, similar situation happened in today Ezra's fasting.
The first six chapters of Ezra records the first wave of the Israelites returning to Jerusalem after being captive to Babylon and that was 537-515BC. Ezra led the second wave to return back and that was 458-433BC. Ezra's main job was to bring a group of priests and Levites to serve in the temple and to teach God's law. He proclaimed a fast so that "God protected them from enemies and bandits along the way." (Ezra 8:31)
Well, we proclaim fasting for 100 days on July 1, 2022 for brothers and sisters of Richmond Emmanuel Church and many of us have joined this fasting. Praise the Lord that many miraculous signs and wonders have happened since then!
After the 100 days fasting, we faced with another serious challenge. We needed more than nine hundred thousands for renovation and other expenses last September, but we did not have that money. We started a one year fasting, more than 180 brothers and sisters joining. The fast is from September 10, 2023 to September 8, 2024. Up to last year, 2025, we received donations in a total amount of 4.7 Canadian dollars that we are able to pay all the bills last year!
I believe if we fast and pray together, Satan will not succeed to use all kinds of tricks to destroy God's people and to make us as captives by many things! And, we will also kick out many Satan's attacks to God's people and His own churches.
Are you willing to join us to fast and pray? Dear Lord Jesus, Help us to be willing to fast and pray that Satan's plan to destroy God's people cannot succeed. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
