1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

    Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through today's TWA passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.

The topic I received today from Jesus is:  Have you seen the risen Christ?

      

    Today's 1 Corinthians 15:1-10 is being recognized as the heart of the Gospel. And, the heart of the Gospel is asking us whether we have seen the risen Christ?

    Paul shows to the Christians in Corinth and beyond that every apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ have seen the risen Christ, including Jesus' own brother, James. Before James saw the risen Jesus, even he was Jesus brother, he did not believe in Jesus as the Saviour, Messiah, Christ. But, after he saw the risen Christ, James became the main leader for all Christians in Jerusalem.

    Paul, before he saw the risen Christ was the key leader of Pharisee and his main job was to persecute Christians. But, after he saw the risen Christ, he became the key leader of Early Church to bring the Gospel to the gentiles. 

    Have you seen the risen Christ?

    If we have not seen the risen Christ, how can our lives be transformed and renewed? 

     Dear Lord Jesus,  

     Lead us to be able to experience your daily presence and that we can see you and talk to you each day that our lives will be transformed to be more like you. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
