1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). The topic I received today from Jesus is: The secret to be blessed!

     Lots of people envy those successful people and they want to know the secret of their success. 

       I think one of the most successful person in human history must be King David. What is the secret of his success? 

      Well, I think the secret of success is to be blessed by God just like how God blessed David!

 Psalm 145:1-7 is David's lifestyle and the secret of his success. I think if you can live out these five ways of lifestyle, you will be a successful person in the eyes of God and people:

    1. Praise God's Name                                           Psalm 145:1-3
    
    2. Tell of God's mighty deed through generations    Psalm 145:4

    3. Meditate on God's wonderful works                    Psalm 145:5

    4. Proclaim God's great deeds                               Psalm 145:6

    5. Joyfully sing God's righteousness                       Psalm 145:7

Let us live out and enjoy the secret to be blessed by our Lord each day!

   

      Dear Lord Jesus,  

      Help us  to live out these five ways of lifestyle that we can be blessed by you in a very special way and to  become a successful person in the eyes of God and people. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
