Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, John 10:24-31
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through today's TWA passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.
The topic I received today from Jesus is: My sheep listen to my voice!
Yesterday we learned the seven "I am" of how Jesus says who He is. In today John's passage Jesus was being surrounded by a lot of Jews asking Him the same question. They wanted to know who He is and whether He is the Messiah or not.
Jesus told them very clearly, "I already told you I am but you do not believe."
Then, He says a very important message:
26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Jesus says in yesterday's John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
The darkness of this world and the downfall of so many things actually is a "Diamond opportunity" for us to teach other people to be able to hear Jesus' voice, to build up a good relationship with Jesus and to follow Him but not this world.
Do you know that?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to grasp this Diamond Opportunity to teach other people to be able to hear your voice, to build up a good relationship with you and to follow you but not this world . In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.Reflect on these questions:
1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?
