Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Ezekiel 18: 31-32
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.
The topic I received today from Jesus is: Get a new heart and a new spirit!
Chapter 18 deals with one word - sin.
Ezekiel brought words from God to clear their misunderstanding of what is "sin".
To many Jews believed that they were being punished for the sins of their ancestors, and so God was being unjust. They failed to recognize that their own sins were even worse than those of their forefathers.
Ezekiel taught them that each person is accountable to God for his or her own life. Each person who persists in sin will die spiritually and experience eternal judgment.
So Ezekiel concluded with an invitation:
Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
Ezekiel 18: 31-32
Do you really have a new heart and new spirit?
If so, your life should be totally different from the time that you were in sins.
If you are in sins recently, then you need to repent so that you can live!
Dear Holy Spirit,
Open our eyes to see our sins that we have something to repent. Renew us that we can receive a new heart and new spirit from you. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
