1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him a second time: 2 “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

                                               Jeremiah 33: 1-3

                     

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.

    

The topic I received today from Jesus is: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you!

What do you think if you got the cel. no. of God and can call Him 24 hours a day and He always pick up His cel. and answer? 

You must think that it is nonsense! 

Wow, even if you call your children they may not always pick up your call, right? 

That's the difference between God and human beings. 

God is always faithful and always pick up the call. It's just we don't call or we do not know how to call! 

God told Jeremiah what was going to happen to the Jews and also telling them what is going to come in hundreds and thousands of year time when Jerusalem will be restored. It's been 2,600 years after Jeremiah's time and Jerusalem has not been restored yet but there will be a day as describe in the Revelation.

So, call Him anytime and He is going to answer. But first, you need to re-establish your new loving relationship with Him so that you are willing to listen and not insisting on telling Him all those things He already knows! 

Listen, listen, listen and obey! 

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to know that you always listen to our call and teach us to listen to you and lead us to be able to obey your call. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
