      2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

     Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’”

5 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.

       Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.    

The topic I received today from Jesus is: Has your heart been moved by God?

Yesterday we completed 2 Chronicles. 

What I received from Jesus today is to put the last few verses of 2 Chronicles to today's blog. Jesus wants to tell us God has a bottom line and when the people of God neglected God's warning and when they crossed God's bottom line it will be THE END of those people and nation! 

When those kings got prophet like Jeremiah and many other prophets giving them warning from God and they still did not listen and obey, then the Bible said there is no remedy. And, the whole nation came to an end. THE END!

That was the year 586BC.

Then, around 538BC, after the remnant of the Israelites had been exiled to Babylonia, they returned to Judah and 

Jerusalem to rebuild the temple under God's direction. Ezra recorded the act of God to lead his people in a miraculous way.

The going up for those people was to Jerusalem to build the house of God in Jerusalem. 

The going up for us is to build up the house of God and that should be your own church, your home church.

There is one thing we need to know in Ezra Chapter 1. Not everyone listened to God's call. Only those "whose heart God had moved would prepare to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem."

So, the real question for you today before you can respond to Jesus' question is:

Has your heart been moved by God?

If so, please try all your best to pour down everything you've got to build up your home church!!! 

And let your church to prosper!!!

Dear Holy Spirit,

Come and move my heart that I can be ready to build up my home church. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
