1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, "Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.                                                                                               2 Kings 20: 1 - 3

       Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.    

The topic I received today from Jesus is:  God is negotiable but we are not!

 Is God negotiable?

Yes, God is negotiable but lots of time we as human beings are not negotiable!

The example of how God listened to Hezekiah's prayer and granted him 15 more years and giving him a miracle as sign to confirm His message was unusual or even impossible. To move the time back? Did it really happen? Well, we need to believe that God really did it. And some scientists said it did happen in those years around 712B.C.. To prove whether it really happened in human history of the moving back of the time is not the point that we need to care about. The point is God is negotiable but Jesus told me that human beings do not do the same thing to him because we are non-negotiable! 

"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."       Matthew 7: 9-12

The sad thing is after God saves us, then we do not do the same thing to God! 

Hezekiah was so proud of his success and forgot that everything he had was from God and did not honor God before the king of Babylon but just to show him everything he got! Hezekiah's pride made him non-negotiable because he forgot everything he had was from God including his own life of 15 more years. 

Hezekiah forgot that God told him that everything he had would be gone. Hezekiah did not repent but just thought of his own well being. Then, the Bible recorded he died!

How sad! How sad!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for your love! Forgive me of my pride and how I am not negotiable to you and my brothers and sisters. Help me to understand that I have nothing if you do not give me those things. You are my Savior, my Lord and my King! Thank you Lord for your word of wisdom today! In Jesus name we pray . Amen.

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
