1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”40 Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal.        Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.    

The topic I received today from Jesus is: What do you do after a spiritual victory?

      Jesus asked you a very tough question: What do you do after a spiritual victory? 

This question gives me lots of memories and this is usually what I did before:

1. I thought of how great God was and how good I was.

2. I usually got invade by my pride and forgot to pray first and gave thanks to the Lord.

3. I usually experience a kind of burn out state or losing of focus to Jesus because I was too excited on my own success.

We need to learn from Elijah. He went up to the top of Mount Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees and pray!

Then he was being filled with the Holy Spirit and could run faster than King Ahab's chariot! Impossible! Like a superman! 

Do you think you can do that after a spiritual victory? 

Do you think you are willing to go up to "your mountain" and pray, give thanks to the Lord?

What have you heard from Jesus today? 

How would that change you not to fall into discouragement and darkness after a spiritual victory?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help me to remember to pray first  and to give thanks to you especially after a spiritual victory. In Jesus name I pray . Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
