1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

       Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.    

     The topic I received today from Jesus is: How well do you know me?

!!   God showed me how well did David knew Him:

1. Who is the Lord?

My rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my refuge, my shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, my Savior, my lamp, my support, arms me, trains me, broaden me, give me His shield.(2 Samuel 22:2-4, 29-37)

2. How He saved David?

Shot arrows, bolts of lightning, drew him out of deep waters, rescued him from his powerful enemy, delivered, preserved...(vv. 8-20, 44-46)

3. Why He did that to David and not others?

David was faithful, blameless, pure and humble. (vv. 26-28)

4. How much did David being empowered?

He had the strength to pursue, crush, beat , pound and trample his strong enemies. (vv. 38-43)

5. How did David say 'thank you'?

Praised Him, exalted Him, sang praises to Him! (vv. 47-51)

How well do you know the Lord? 

How much can you count His blessings daily? 

How close are you with Him now? 

How faithful, pure, blameless and humble are you? 

How much have you been empowered? 

How well do you say 'thank you' to Him daily?

Let us praise Him and give thanks to Him, for the Lord is good! 

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for saving me, protecting me, walking with me and loving me. I will praise your Name and give thanks to you all the days of my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:    

1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

     2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
