Silence

1.   Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence

      2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile.

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

      Then the Lord opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.               Numbers 22: 31

        "I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them."                          Numbers 23: 20-21

       Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him.    

      The topic I received today from Jesus is: Lord, open my eyes!

?    So many times, people have been used by the king of this world to curse God's servants and His people. It was astonishing that the Lord could open even a donkey's mouth and opened Balaam's eyes!

      Then, we can see in the next chapter that King Balak wanted Balaam to curse the Israelites but no matter how Balak did, Ballaam did not respond for he received command from God that he could not curse His people. Balaam told King Balak that he saw God is with the Israelites and the shout of the king is among the Israelites!

       How powerful it can be if we can lead our people to have the spirit of shouting to the Lord, not really shouting loudly like mad man but singing from the bottom of our hearts to praise the Lord!  

I sincerely hope and pray that we have a willingness to ask the Lord to open our eyes so that we can see those things the Lord wants us to see! God's servants and people are to be blessed!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Open our eyes to see you and all the things you want us to see. Open our souls that we can praise you from the bottom of our hearts, shouting to you as our Lord and King. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

    2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
