God has a bottom line! Do you know that?

Then Abraham said, "May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?" He answered, "For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it." Genesis 18: 32
"Because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it."
Genesis 19:13
Genesis 18-19 tells us how gracious God is but He has His bottom line.
When God told Abraham that He was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham pleaded for God's mercy and said if there were fifty could God not destroy the two cities. God is gracious and merciful and he accepted Abraham's plead. Then Abraham made one plead after another, from 50 to 45, from 45 to 40, from 40 to 30, from 30 to 20, from 20 to 10. I think Abraham must be thinking he surely could find 10 righteous people in that two cities. Sad! Abraham could not find even ten righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah!
No one knows God's bottom line but when that time comes, God acts and no one can do anything!
You may think, well, that is history, not any more, for 'God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." (John 3: 16-17)
God sent His son to save us. How can He send angels again like in the old time to destroy?
A question I received from Jesus today is this: If you know God would send angels to destroy your city and beyond when it hit His bottom line, what difference would that be for you to change your lifestyle from now on? Are you willing to let God to use you to save more souls and have more righteous people in your city?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know that you have a bottom line and we need to change our lifestyle so as you can use us to save more souls and have more righteous people in our city. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?
2. What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do? Family Corner: Find an opportunity to share with your family the importance of today's message.

If you would like to follow my "Subject shifting Devotion Method" from the "Time with Abba, Praising Singing", you are welcome to follow the direction below and then go back to the top of this blog to read today's key passage and my listening and sharing:
Silence1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence 2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile 2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people3. Sing a song to praise the Lord
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

"Heavenly Father, I pray that this day I may live in your presence and please you more and more.
Lord Jesus, I pray that this day I may take up my cross and follow you.
Holy Spirit, I pray that this day you will fill me with yourself and cause your fruit to ripen in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
